Our Tampons with Applicators are made with premium, GOTS certified goodness: organic cotton that meets the globe's highest standard of ethical, social, and environmental practices.

Unlike big retail brands, we do not use any rayon in our products.

Be careful as rayon is often disguised as "natural wood pulp" in some ingredient lists. Why? Because "natural wood pulp" comes from trees that are 1) deforested, and then 2) processed using metric tons of heavy and toxic chemicals to break down those trees into that soft, cotton-looking pad or tampon. The chemicals used to break down the trees into a wearable textile can be dangerous to humans - particularly the workers who work with them.

Layer in some super absorbent polymers and you've got yourself a totally synthetic pad and tampon. Nothing "natural" about it.
